i picked up this adorable vintage hawaiian outfit for the bird from alisha’s etsy shop. the good news is that it’s actually 3T, so i’m sure we will get some action out of it next summer as well.

her first cone

not her first taste, mind you. this girl loves her some ice cream. but this was her first time eating it from a cone. henry had a sleepover last week, and we took the kids out for pizza + ice cream. and since dotty has begun to want to do anything and everything that her big brother does, it was cones all around!

of course she ended up wearing at least half of it, but boy, she enjoyed every minute of it.

i meant to add these to the shop, and time just got away from me. in fact, i still have so many good kiddo treasures that i will just hang onto for a future kid update. though, i couldn't bear the thought of packing these wall hangings away for who know's how long, so i thought i'd make them available straight through the blog.

they have such a vintage storybook charm to them, i think they would be sweet as candy in a new baby's room, don't you?!

ETA: measurements for the kitties: the biggest kitty measures approx 16" tall, the others approx 9" and the star dusters measure approx 13" tall for the moon and the balloon guy and 9" for the little fella on the star. star dusters are sold!

my sister just sent me this video, which i know i’ve seen once before. so cute.

so of course that prompted me to look for more laughing babies. because really, who doesn’t love laughing babies???
