Happy Thursday, guys! Gosh, the week is racing to the finish line so quickly, isn’t it? I feel like I’ve been shot out the end of a canon, and I’m in a bit of a panic trying to get everything in order for tomorrow. It’s like the worst case of pre-vacation to-dos EVER, if you know what I mean. So much to do! So little time! Somehow it’ll all work out. Hold on tight and breathe, that’s what I keep telling myself.
I’m excited to share a little shop news with you this morning. I have a sort of new-ish friend named Sarah who just so happens to be a fantastic children’s book author and illustrator. You see, that’s the beauty of all of this. The chance to meet lovely ladies from all over the world (Sarah happens to live in the UK) and find special little friendships that never would have happened without this great thing called the www. Oh, internet. So crazy making at times but also so inspiring and wonderful and full of awesome.
You guys might remember Sarah and her sweet boy Stanley from a few months ago when Sarah shared that amazing rocking horse project, right? Sarah and Stanley are adorable and charming and I know you’ll think that too, just watch this little video on Sarah’s blog to see what I mean.
As an aside, is there something amazing in the water over there — look at this good looking bunch!
Be sure to check out her shop, where she’s offering up original work and prints from her children’s books, custom portraits and adorable artwork like that cat and dog above (which I am totally ordering for Miss Dotty, who is drawing nothing but kitties and dogs at the moment!) and bookmark her blog, it’s a new favorite of mine and I think you’ll love it too.
Cheers to Sarah and cheers to friends!!!
