edit: 12/24 :: giveaway is closed, a winner will be announced TODAY! thanks to all that entered, and thanks so much to MISHA LULU!

Oh, Mamas! I’m really happy to host this giveaway from MishaLulu! If you aren’t familiar with the line (where have you been?!) then I’m extra excited to introduce it to you!! Inspired by their faith, Latin culture and childhood memories, Karen and Joe (with the help of Grandma Chol and Abuelita Blanquita!) create the most adorable retro-modern looks for the luckiest of girls.

Dotty is one of those lucky ladies, with a few MishaLulu pieces hanging in her closet. In fact, she wore the navy Hello Kitty dress (pictured above on that sweet little strawberry blonde) for Thanksgiving dinner. She’s a big fan of Hello Kitty and when that dress arrived, she actually squealed with delight and wanted to wear it immediately.

So here’s the exciting part: The folks at MishaLulu are offering up the striped Hello Kitty shirt + skirt (pictured below) to one lucky Frecklewonder reader! All you have to do is comment here, and head on over to the MishaLulu blog and leave your same comment there. How about you tell us what your favorite holiday tradition is? That would be nice to know. If you want extra points, you can also share it on twitter or facebook. Be sure to @frecklewonder so that I can see your tweet and give you a gold star!

We’re still new to holiday traditions with the kiddos but aside from driving around to look at lights, our favorite thing the past 2 holidays was cutting snowflakes to decorate around out home with. Thanks for the fabulous giveaway! Happy Holidays!

We didn’t really have any traditions growing up so I’m starting them now with my 3 year old.
Eating popcorn while making Christmas cards, making tree decorations and giving a present to another little child who wouldn’t normally receive one (through a charity).
Thank you for the opportunity, Misha Lulu clothes are so cute I wish they made them in my size ^U^

I love Misha Lulu (and my girl adores Hello Kitty!). We have a lot of family traditions…baking, crafting, opening pajamas on Christmas Eve and watching a Christmas Story…classic. My favorite though is making my moms beef and vegetable soup on Christmas Eve. It brings me back to the smells of childhood and that anticipation of the morning to come! Merry Christmas!!!

ooh cute!
since my kids are so small, we’re still making up our traditions as we go along so right now, my favourite tradition is making traditions! so far this year we’ve decided to give the kids a pair of christmas jammies on christmas eve, watch christmas movies in the week before christmas and go and see as many christmas lights as we can handle!

I just discovered Misha Lulu today-OMG HOLY MOLY! I love this line. Our favorite family tradition is bundling up in jammies, popcorn and blankets driving around looking at Christmas lights and awarding the house with the best decorations a bag full of candy in their mailbox. Merry Christmas!

Jenny, this giveaway, argh! I want to win. Okay, my favorite Holiday tradition probably listening to Christmas music in the afternoons for the month of December. It creates an atmosphere like none other and I look forward to it all year!

What beautiful clothes. Thanks for the introduction! We had one family Christmas tradition which was an absolute torment for me as a child. We had our Father Christmas presents in the morning but we couldn’t have any others until Dad had washed up all the lunch dishes AND we’d watched the Queen give her annual speech on the tv!!!! Torture I tell you! A Hello Kitty outfit could go some way to erase the memories…………!

I absolutely love Misha Lulu but, sadly, only have a little boy to dress up. My five year old niece would LOVE the Hello Kitty outfit though!

My favorite holiday tradition comes on Christmas eve when my entire extend family would gather at my grandmother’s house for presents and dinner. The adults would not let the children open presents until every adult had finished their meal AND they made the kids sing rounds of Christmas carols before digging in. It was torture as a child, but looking back now we have so many great videos of all the kids gathered around bellowing out “Jingle Bells” in anticipation. Now as a parent myself, I partake in the tradition but we go a little lighter on the kids – only one song before the unwrapping begins.

Oh my this would be our first set if we were to win. fingers crossed! Our favorite holiday tradition is exchanging pj’s, putting them on, and driving around on Christmas Eve looking at lights. We don’t get out of those pj’s until December 26 when we pile in the van and head to the zoo. I love our Christmas traditions. Happy Holidays!

We make hot cocoa and decorate our Christmas tree while listening to the Los Straightjackets Christmas album. When I was growing up, I remember decorating the tree was always the source of much arguing and strife between my parents, but it is so chill when my husband and I do it. We use ribbon from our wedding invitations to circle the tree and it’s just so lovely. We didn’t do it this year because of a combination of a crazy six-month old kitten and a broken ankle (mine) and I miss it so much. Next year for sure, no matter what!!

My favorite tradition is opening up one present on Christmas Eve night. The present is pajamas and then you sleep in them. And then you wake up and eat cinnamon rolls. It’s just a nice and quiet time for immediate family.

I am a big fan of Misha Lulu clothes. My daughter has several outfits and she always gets so many compliments when she wears them!

Our whole family would make so many varieties of holiday cookies. We would work on several different recipes in the same kitchen at the same time. Some of the cookies were more common like Tollhouse while others were Italian family recipes. We would also always sing Christmas carrols together as a family the night before Christmas. And every year my father would buy a new Christmas album. We would listen to these albums throughout the entire month of December.
