greetings

hi guys, it’s been a while! it’s me, speck. i just wanted to pop on and let’cha know i’m doing great. i’ve settled into my new digs quite nicely, it’s like i’ve always been here.

i still love the afternoon sun and i hunt down my little spots so that i can lay in it and be warm. it’s kind of my time to peace out.

i have a lot of nick names these days- it’s a good thing i’ll pretty much answer to anything if it’s said in a high pitched voice. they call me speck. which sometimes gets turned into: speckinator, speck-en-zie-deutch, speckie, specka-poozer, and my personal favorite: bussie. that’s what dorothy calls me. and then the rest of the gang turns that into The Bus-in-ator. which, really. like i said- doesn’t sound at all like speck, but if it’s said the right way, i don’t really care. chances are, they’re calling me for lovies or treats, so i’ll come a’runnin.

i love it when dorothy gives me really gentle pets, and lately she’s been into picking me up. i can’t say i love for her to pick me up, but i tolerate it. thankfully someone else is always close by, so they remind her not to drop me and it all works out in the end. she likes to give me kisses too, and she always calls me into her room at bedtime so as to not leave me out of the night time snuggles. i like that very much.

and speaking of night time snuggles, this summer has been a dream. i’ve been sleeping in henry’s bed every night and i just love that so, so much. he lets me get under the covers and everything, which is just the way i like it.

here i am with henry, on a recent rode trip that we took down to north carolina. i couldn’t tell you how long the drive was or anything about the sights cause i slept pretty much the entire time.
