Like you, the thrift store gods have been seemingly very kind with me lately, too! I pop in to them a lot, but sometimes the treasures are worth digging for. For instance, I was at my most favorite store yesterday, happened upon some fantastic things, and then stumbled upon an amazingly large floral-carved framed oval mirror shoved behind a desk in the furniture section. I took one look at it, laid it on top of my cart, and wheeled it around with me for the remainder of the hunt. Then at the check out, I figured that I just didn't need it at $22, put it back, and drove home without it. Now, I've been thinking about it all day; it was so beautiful. It looks like it could be on the wall in Anthro! So, you're right, getting a little extra nudge is all you need sometimes. Thank you!
